8 hours from Delhi: Pristine breathtaking views, fresh air and rustic mud & wood cottages done up by the local artisans welcome you - in this traditional Garhwali village farm retreat.

The highlight is the food. Vegetables are farm fresh, country eggs, in-house poultry and authentic local recipes. In fact their cafetaria is actually a glass house where right in the centre they grow plants and vegetables. Talk of farm to table :)

Surprisingly they have minimal to no electricity and the place runs on solar power, even for the hot water which for the same reason is not absolutely abundant at the property and dinners are candle lit and you'll even get your hot water bottle at night to keep you cozy!

Things to do: Trek up to Nag Tibba 9900ft above sea level (which will almost take the day), Milk and graze the goats, Walk with the shepherds and find out interesting life hacks, read and read some more, get your hands dirty with actual farming, or simply do nothing and chill (after the WFH you definitely deserve it!), Stargazing especially on full moon nights, Pluck your own vegetables, Enjoy the many teas and juices (lemon grass, mint, tulsi, ginger honey lemon)..all farm fresh, Ask for a bonfire, Birdwatching, Nature walks

Tariff: Approx 7k per room per night. Meals extra.

Current status: Opening in September 20, have been shut since March due to Covid.

Best time to go: October-December and April-June

This eco-tourism effort is helping farmers stay in these hill villages and not migrate out. And for us, it's the one magical chance to escape to the simple quiet village life in the hills with all the comforts that souls like us need!
