A mystic 'Pahadi cabin' hidden in the heart of Shimla!

Shimla is a destination each and every Delhi'ite would have some association with. Either been there in their childhood summer breaks or for a quick weekend getaway or travelled to places around it looking for something a little more offbeat. But hidden within Shimla, just 2.5km from the Mall Road is a beautiful Pahadi home: Meena Bagh promising a taste of Himachali life in its own quirky way. A great way to revisit a destination you've seen before by experiencing something different and giving yourself a chance to 'rewind and renew you'!
An award winning eco-home, it has 4 rooms and a spacious living area and kitchen and a terrace - all set in a wood panelled (all recycled wood) and mud plastered interior with vibrant colours and quirky decor accents. Good for couples and families, the place is one of few that is gay friendly, encourages you to travel with your furry friends and also gives great discounts to artists and writers.
You can venture out for long walks lined by trees or hop over to the Mall in Shimla to experience the hustle bustle and come back to a wholesome and flavourful home cooked Pahadi meal. Or if you choose to do nothing, then its perfect too. Plonk yourself on a couch and read or strum the guitar while gazing at the mountains outside the window sipping tea, till its time to play a game of pool with friends in the evening. Simple and modest with a pinch of luxury - it's a perfect way to experience having a home in the hills.
Best time to visit: Shimla is a year round destination with best weather between April-June and September- November. Be prepared with woollens if you're going in winter for the snow!

Status: You need a covid negative test and e-pass to travel to Shimla currently and as of now you need to minimum book for 5 nights
